Have something that broke and needs replaced? Here are a few tip to save your budget when looking for a replacement.

1. Send out an email or Facebook post letting other know what you are looking for. You just never know, someone may have one sitting around that you can have for FREE. This can be as simple as a comptuer printer or as large as an appliance.
2. Look online at freebie website such as http://www.freecycle.org/ to see if you can find one for free.
3. Consider buying it used. Here are a few places to look for used items -
• Sunday newspaper
• http://www.craigslist.org/
• http://www.ebay.com/
• Thrift stores such as Goodwill, Savlvation Army or DAV
• Used appliance stores
4. If you still have not found what you are looking for, shop around. Consider pricing online before heading out to the stores so you have an idea what you should be paying.
