Replacing a toilet

Are you looking to replace a toilet in the future? If yes, then you will likely be shopping for a toilet that uses less water so that you can spend less on your water bill. The question becomes....are you really saving water if you have to flush twice to make the waste go down? Instead of buying the cheapest toilet, consider spending the extra on one that has pressure assist, these also use less water but have a "forceful flush" helping clear the waste easier thus saving on your water bill. If you have problems with a "wiggly" toilet, could it be because you have someone who weighes more than 250lbs using it? Consider upgrading to a handicap toilet instead. Handicap toilets sit up a little higher and are made to hold more weight. Because they are less likely to break at the base or become unsteady, you will not need to call a plumber out to "fix" it thus saving on repair/replacement cost.
