FREE fishing knot instructions

If you are looking for a boy scout project (or parent/child activity) for spring, why not use Bass Pro's fishing knot tutorals and practice attaching hooks and lures, then follow it up with a trip to the local fishing hole at your next meeting. This makes for an inexpensive project that I'm pretty sure you'll have extra "helpers" for if you ask. Make sure you ask the parents to send a rod with line the night you plan the event.
