Take a factory tour

Factory tours are a great idea of something you can do on vacation that is either FREE or cheap. Tours tend to show you how a product is made plus, you typically get a FREE sample at the end. One of my favorite tours I've taken over the years was the tour of the Jelly Belly factory in California. Not only are tours a great way to check out how your favorite items are made, but they can also be used as an educational experience for home schoolers. Click here for a listing of factory tours.
