Gingerbread people recipe

One year growing up my family was short cash at the holidays but we still wanted to give out gifts to our friends and family. So what my Mom did was spent the money on some large ginger bread man (and woman) cookie cutters and we made custom gingerbread people for each person. We detailed them down the the hair color and even made a pregnant one (with a simple round cookie added to the belly top) for one mother-to-be. When we were done, we simply wrapped them in plastic wrap and tagged them. They were a HUGE HIT!
