Today is so full of deals that is hard to know where to start....my advice is to plan you day and shop smart. Know that most of the "hot" items will be in limited quanitites, will not likely have rainchecks offered, and many stores will not honor black friday price matches either. So, make your list, but know that if the item you were after is gone, you should have a back up gift idea. Before you head out, look online for printable store coupons, and don't forget to have the cashier scan any store reward card at checkout. Also, if at all possible, pay with cash. Paying with cash will help you avoid the temptation to overspend. Most of all, take an occasional break from the rush to enjoy a few moments of the season by sharing a cup of coffee or coco with someone whos company you enjoy. Remember that the season is not about how much money you spend, but about the personal connections you make with friends and family.
