Candy shopping?

Tomorrow is officially Halloween. Tomorrow is also the night that many retailers will start drastic mark downs on their candy, plus many candy coupons expire. If you have a chance after the trick or treaters are gone, you might visit your local retailer (coupons in hand) to see what selection they have left and see if the mark downs have begun. If your retailer has them marked down to 1/2 price already and you can double dip with your coupons you can grab candy for pennies on the dollar, making for a great deal!
Keep in mind that candy purchased now will still be "fresh" at Christmas time, so if you can grab some that don't have seasonal wrappings they can easily be used to stuff holiday stockings in December, saving you some cash later. Just put the candy in a tight sealed container (such as tupperware or rubbermade) to avoid risk of critter getting them, and package with like flavors (don't put your chocolate next to your skittles etc). Stash these incognito containers where the little ones won't think to look for them.
