Cleaning your washing machine

I purchased a new HE top-loader machine this last year, and with it came instructions and a packet of solution to clean it. I thought to myself, is this a problem with HE washers...and the answer is yes. The are actually supposed to be cleaned periodically. So, with this new quest to find a DIY version of this expensive cleaner, I ran accross One Good Things's blog and her instructions of how to do it using only stuff most people already have on hand....bleach and white vinegar.
