Oooh, another stockpile recipe...LOVE IT! Actually this is a recipe I had been given years and years ago, and just recently saw a post that reminded me of how good they were. These are great to make for graduation parties, bunko night, superbowl parties, baby showers etc.
What you need:
2 lb small twisted pretzels
10 oz buttered popcorn oil
1 ounce ranch dip mix (one packet)
2 tsp dill weed
3/4 tsp garlic powder
First let me say that you will need a HUGE bowl to mix the final product up in...so find your biggest pot/pan/bowl you got and go grab it. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Next you will need to mix up all the dry spices (ranch dip, dill & garlic) in a seperate bowl and then stir in the oil, set aside. Now you can dump your pretzels into that large bowl you grabbed, and start drizzling the oil/spice mixture over the top, gently stirring with your hands as you go. Once you have the pretzels completely coated, put them into two roaster pans and roast for 1 hour, stirring with a long handled spoon mid way through. Allow to cool slightly before taste testing...serve at room temperater and seal leftovers up for another day. Best served withing 2 days of making.
