Advance ticket codes allow you to purchase ahead of the general public, which means that you can buy a lesser expensive seat and be able to sit in the front of that particular section. I've used an advance ticket code for Disney on ice in the past and was able to get 4th row seats (just off center) for $10 each. People just a few rows up from us paid at least seven times that! So yes, this is a bargain if you plan to go anyway, and are ready when the tickets go on sale.
