Gift idea - Buy with frequent flyer miles

Just about every airline has a frequent flyer mile program, and just about every frequent flyer program has a way to run those miles into something other than airfare. Even if you don't fly often, it may be to your benefit to join.
If you don't fly enough to rack up the miles to take your family on vacation, why not turn those miles into holiday gifts? This would be a great way to grab an ipod or camera for your teenager(s) or a coffee grinder for a sibling. Since reward gifts often take longer to arrive, now is the time to shop for them.
