Babysitting swap

Why not trade a day of babysitting with a fellow mom so that you can have a block of time without children. Children-free blocks of time tend to be more productive which will make your life easier...and if you have everything done, this makes for a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping for the little ones. Shopping alone tends to make the trip less stressfull which leads to smarter shoppping. The best part of a babysitting swap is that neither parent has to pay for a sitter!!!
On the day you have the kids, why not do some fun projects as a group. This is a great opportunity to dedicate a few hours to holiday crafts. You can even help the kids make some gift that they may give away over the holidays or some fun holiday cookies.
