T-Rex discounts kids meals

T-Rex is a restaurant that sorta reminds me of Rainforest Cafe....only with a dino theme. The first restaurant was opened at The Legends in Kansad City, Kansas a few years ago with plans to open more nationwide. What makes this establishement a bit different is that they are owned by the same company that owns Build A Bear Workshop. That said, you have the themed eating side with the large dinos to entertain the kids while eating, then you can move on over to the build-a-dino side and make your own suffed animal to take home. Of course these sorta places can get expensive, but here are a few way to enjoy it without breaking the bank.
  1. Eat there on Wednesday nights when taking kids. Kids meals are discounted to $2.99 from 5pm to closing as long as you have an adult purchasing and entree. Adult meal prices range for ~$6 to $24 per person.
  2. Order water for the adults instead of soft drinks (kids are included in the meal price), skip the appetizers and desserts.
  3. Bring your BABW coupons. Yup, they take them there as well.
  4. While you are there, sign up for their kids club. The first Thursday of the month they have a promo just for you.
