New to couponing organizer tools

If you are new to couponing odds are you need some tools to get started. Although you will likely advance to a larger organizer eventually, most couponers start with a simple coupon organizer. Right now Target has some (more sturdy plastic) basic organizers in their dollar bins. They have 3 sizes to pick from. The smallest size holds newspaper coupons well, the middle size will also allow you to easily file printable coupons without too much trimming, and finally the largest size will fit the entire newspaper insert. What size you pick, depends on your clipping techniques. The best part about these organizers is that they come with the stickers so that you can choose your own tab wording and they are only $1.

Here are some tab wording suggestions to get your ideas started
  • Dairy
  • Deli
  • Spices/Condiments
  • Cleaning
  • Paper
  • Drug & Beauty
  • Non-food (for things like clothes, printer paper, batteries etc)
  • Beverages
  • Frozen
  • Breakfast (for cereal, granola bars etc)
  • Canned goods
  • Pic pulled from Koupon Karen
