Below is a sample of my Target run. This will give you an idea of my average savings I acheive, and what I would love to show you to do yourself at my Class on July 17th. This is only one store and the goal was to get what my family needed, not to grab the largest savings possible. Several of the items I grabbed were off sale right now, but with vacation coming up I was grabbing some stuff I had forgotten to include on my lists prior (yes, even I do that). I put a priority on having my family eat a well rounded diet and sometimes even throw in some extra goodies, so you will see my percentages on receipts that include groceries are lower because of the volume of milk, veggies and fresh meat, etc that I buy. With the techniques I teach, you could save 80% or more (like on TV) off you bill if you stick to the best discounted items, but that is not realistic for most families. My goal is to teach you how to save big at the store, keeping your life and diet in balance with realistic expectations. That said, I spent 87.66 out of pocket, after my savings of $80.81 or 48% off my total bill. Not bad when you consider how much of it was not on sale and a last minute add ins for vacation.
