When I say basic, I am referring to clothing that can be mixed and matched to make many outfits. Try and stick with basic colors. Items on your list might include denim, a basic black dress or some khaki pants. Materials that press easily or are wrinkle free pack best. Doing this will help control your volume of luggage.
