- Ask a neighbor if they would like to read it. In this tough economy many people who enjoy the paper have cancelled their subscriptions to save money.
- Ask your kids teacher if they need them for any upcoming class projects. Often newspaper is used in the craft room as table covers or for paper mache projects.
- Use a crunched up piece of paper to clean your glass. Simply spray with cleaner and use the waded paper to wipe.
- Contact your local pet shelter and see if they need them for cage liners.
- If you know someone who is moving, they make great wrap to protect breakable items such as dishes.
- Save the funny pages and use them as gift wrap.
- And of course....recycle them
