DIY Granite cleaner

If you are lucky enough to have granate in your home, you know there are lots of do's and don'ts to taking care of it. A fellow blogger took the time to do the research in making her own "green" cleaner that seems to work well. This is WAY cheaper than the $8-12 a bottle pre-made stuff! When cleaning it is reccomended that you use a granite cleaning cloth or chamois because the smooth nap will make for a streak free finish.

Here is her recipe, simply put it all into a spray bottle and shake gently to mix.
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
3 drops of dish detergent
1 cup water
A few drops of essential oil can be added for scent if desired

Note that she stayed away from  acidic cleaners, citrus based cleansers (such as lemon), vinegar and windex because all will affect the surface or sealer with repeated use. Great job Chasing Tiny Feet!
Thanks Mama Cheap for sharing this!
