Holidy card gift tags

Okay, so if your not crafty enough to make the boxes out of holiday cards (see yesterdays post), they why not grab a simple craft punch and make some gift tags instead. Use one of the craft store coupons that come out almost weekly, and you should be able to get a large craft punch for no more than $10. This price is based on the fact that you likely will want the largest one they stock, but you can spend less and get a smaller one if you wish. Combine this with a simple hole punch (you can usually grab one for ~$1) and you have what you need to make them. Consider the fact that a pack of 5 tags retail for $1.99 in the store during the peak shopping season, and you will see how you will reap your savings back in no time. Store the tags in a small box or Ziploc bag, and when you are ready to use them, simply tie them on your gift with some ribbon or a piece of yarn - this are other great re purpose items because you don't need much length, so any scrap ribbon or yarn will do.
