Switch to bar soap

Looking for another way to cut expenses? Why not switch from liquid hand soap and shower gels to bar soap. Liquid soaps are convient but tend to have a lot of waste. Using a bar of soap cuts down on the waste and thus lasts longer. I had a friend recently tell me that she only uses bar soap in the shower/bath for her and the kids and a large package from Walmart will last her 6 months. Bar soaps have coupons just like the others, why not use your coupons to grab some inexpensive bars and give it a try. I betcha you will find out that you don't use near as much.

** Try to educate your kids that bar soap is used to lather up the wash cloth then needs to be placed back on the soap holder and not left in the tub water.
