Kohl's Kash

Did you know that if you purchased and item under the Kash program and return an item, they will deduct part of your Kohl's Kash off the return? Also did you know that if you return it for a gift card you simply get credit for the price your purchased it for and get to keep your Kash? Depending on what you are returning, this could be a $10+ difference. Why this is important is not only that you want to keep the extra money, but you can use that credit towards their next promotion and earn more Kash on that same dollar amount. You can use your in store credit to pay for your purchases and only put the remainder on your credit card which qualifies you for the Kash special. Of course I would never encourage you to pay interest on your card, so if you are going to use this plan, you have to promise to walk straight from the checkout stand over to customer service to pay your card balance off. A bargain isn't a bargain when you pay interest.

So this holiday season when someone buys you the wrong color/size sweater or simply buys your something you hate...return it and keep the credit on a gift card, then spend it on their next Kash promotion.
